About my substack

Beginning at the end of November 2023 you can get access to three newsletters via this website. If you want to get them sent directly to yyour in box once they’ve been published, you should subscribe.

My regular (more or less weekly) newsletter is called ‘The future is unwritten’. Each one gives a bit of an insight in to something or other that I’ve been thinking about, or working on, recently. Sometimes it’s funny, hopefully. It might also include news of projects, organisations and other things that I’m involved in, as well as people I think you might be interested to hear about.

Most weeks I also write short reflections on lectionary passages, (‘Progressive reflections on the lectionary’) which may be of use to you if you’re someone who preaches or teaches Bible stuff regularly, or you are just someone who is interested in reading the Bible.

And in ‘A dream like mine’ I sometimes send out links and news about interesting or innovative devotional material, and/or words that I have put together to be useful in liturgical/worship settings (you are free to use these words as you wish on a non commercial basis, if you re-publish them I’d be grateful if you could acknowledge me as the author).

Everything is free, there are no paywalls, that’s not how I roll. But you can pay for a subscription if you want to help me get this material together and put it online, I’ve put the levels to be as cheap as possible, but if you’d like to pay more you can by signing up to the supporter tier.

Stay up-to-date

If you subscribe you won’t miss a thing. Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox. By magic, basically.

Join the crew

By subscribing you automatically become part of a community of people who share your interests. Well, I suppose, technically they are my interests, but you get the point.
